Finally! I’ve been waiting to show you the kitchen design in 1327 Eagle Way for a few weeks now. It’s all done!
The beautiful Seal gray Kemper Cabinets blend beautifully with the GE Slate appliances, and the slate-look tile from Mohawk adds a richness to the backsplash, while protecting your walls from cooking splatters. The beautiful granite countertops were purchased locally from Robert Stone.
The wood-look plank tile on the floor is also from Mohawk Flooring, and the color adds a richness to the grays of the cabinets.
The walls are a warm, neutral greige, waiting for you to add your splash of color. We kept the trim a nice, bright white, and the baseboards seem to almost frame the walls. We have built shelves above the cabinets & entry closet. There is an outlet up there with a switch on the wall, so you can add some lights to whatever you put up there. We will be adding some flowers & decor up there next week, so I will update the photos.
We installed under cabinet lighting so that you can see what you are preparing as you work in this beautiful kitchen. We also installed a USB outlet on one wall so that you can charge whatever devices you need while in the kitchen & main living area.
The GE range is gas, and has a 5 burner cooktop. The GE refrigerator is a side-by-side with water & an ice maker in the freezer door. We plugged it in yesterday, so it’s cool & ready to fill with your favorite beverages & treats.
Every kitchen sink needs to have a view, and this one does not disappoint! The kitchen looks through the dining room & out the back windows to the covered porch with views of the Colorado National Monument.
The kitchen sink is an Executive Chef cast iron undermount sink. It is nice & deep! The faucet is from Moen, and is in an oil rubbed bronze finish, to coordinate to the finishes throughout the home. The garbage disposal button is mounted right next to the faucet, for ease of use.
